Here's what works, and what doesn't

The location is excellent, offering beautiful canal views and easy access to authentic restaurants. Staff members were kind and helpful, enhancing the stay!

Air conditioning was poor. Several guests found it uncomfortable. The limited dining options outside breakfast meant we often had to search for meals nearby.

Walking the back streets of Venice and stopping at the many shops and eateries. Sitting on the terrace for breakfast and late afternoon drinks looking out over the Grand Canal.

Shower water pressure was too low.

Large room itself with a magnificent Venetian style, a balcony and a less restricted view. The service was excellent here. Brilliant location on the Grand Canal, very tasty breakfast. Besides, very convenient to a museum gallery......

Well-maintained room, I liked the hotel!

I booked a room with a super bed, TV, a mini-fridge-bar, and coffee and tea making equipment. The breakfast was plentiful with stunning view on Canal Grande.

The rooftop jacuzzi is a great idea, but it was broken.

Room offered amazing views over the canal. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious with good choices. Air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool at times. Great location near local restaurants and easy access to walking tours.

Location is excelent. Situating on Grand Chanal and close to San Marko it's still a bit aside. That is why you can feel yourself like a real Venetian and avoid tourist crowds. Hotel is a real ancient palazzio which belonged to Malpaga family...  

This fine hotel has a water taxi stop right at the door and is a stone's throw from local restaurants and charming wine bars. We loved that our room offered a lovely view over the Grand Canal! It's a gorgeous spot...  

Great staff and wonderful decorated room. Location is excellent, just 10 second from the boat bus stop. So many nice restaurants, bars and cafes are all 10 min distance. Had a great time here.

Breakfast is nice but the menu was exactly same whole week. We got a bit tired of them at the end of trip. Better to change time to time.

A delightful and beautifully refurbished hotel accessed directly from the Canal Grande. Location is superb, only minutes away from the Academia bridge. A breakfast terrace overlooking the Canal Grande provides a great start of every day. Grand rooms, well...  

This hotel made you feel like the most important customer and everybody was very friendly. The also went out of their way to inform you on all the site seeing to do in Venice

What a hidden gem! The views from the canal-side patio during breakfast were lovely. The staff were genuinely kind. While the room was comfortable, the air conditioning could use some improvement. Nonetheless, this hotel offers a charming ambiance and easy access to local attractions that can't be beaten!

The location was great with a vaparetto bus stop right next to hotel. Lovely terrace overlooking Grand Canal with sun all morning for breakfast. Very nice breakfast for a small hotel. Free wireless internet. Lovely restored palace,...  

The great staff who were there and helped us with everything. The location can't be beat.

We were in handicapped equipped rooms which were fine but the shower water ran onto the floor and you had to surround the shower with towels every time you used it.
